AlphaMega Loyalty Kiosk project goes live

The NexTech Loyalty Kiosk Application was successfully launched in March, 2014 island-wide at all AlphaMega hypermarket locations.  A total of 15 NCR SelfServ 60 kiosks running the NexTech Loyalty Kiosk application developed under the NCR NetKey platform were delivered and installed. The Kiosk application main features include:

  • Member registration
  • Member profile updatekiosk
  • Points information
  • Discount information
  • Full self-service redemptions
  • SMS and Email notifications
  • Security PIN number generation (random & user specified)
  • Personalized offer management
  • Issuing of printable or digital-only vouchers
  • Multilanguage support (currently supporting English, Greek & Russian)
  • Fast, extremely responsive user interface running locally on the kiosk and interfacing with back office Loyalty Server using web services
  • Fully integrated with the NexTech Loyalty Back Office Application currently running at AlphaMega head office

The project was a great success in terms of customer acceptance.  Over 95% of all loyalty transactions are now being delivered by the self-service kiosks.  In addition, the loyalty database has been updates (mostly by the customers themselves) correcting any errors and adding new fields (phone number, email address, etc). The Loyalty Kiosk Application will be expanded in near future to include additional functionality such as top-up of mobile phones and AlphaMega gift cards.
